NOTIFICATION

Whereas, in the G.O. Ms. No. 49/LAS/2019 , dated 07-03-2019 of this Secretariat and published in the Official Gazette [Extraordinary (Part- 1 ) ] bearing No. 37 , dated 07-03-2019 , the Government has notified Delimitation of Municipal Wards for the purpose of conduct of elections to the Municipalities .

And whereas , in the said G.O. , in Annexure- I [ Statement showing the Wards into which Municipalities have been divided and the extent of each such Municipal Wards] , some errors in the boundaries of the ward(s ) , list of areas/streets included in the ward( s ) , spelling mistakes , etc. , have occurred in respect of Wards of Oulgaret Municipality, Mahe Municipality and Yanam Municipality as mentioned below: -

Now, therefore, it is proposed to amend the said Annexure - I [ Statement showing the Wards into which Municipalities have been divided and the extent of each such Municipal Wards ] as in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

Notice is hereby given for information of the general public calling for objections or suggestions to be sent to the Director , Local Administration Department, Government of Puducherry, within ten ( 10) days time from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette of Government of Puducherry. The objections or suggestions so received within the abovesaid time- limit shall be considered by the Government .
