NOTIFICATION

Whereas , in the G.O. Ms. No. 50 /LAS / 2019 , dated 07-03-2019 of this Secretariat and published in the Official Gazette [Extraordinary (Pan - I ) ] bearing No. 38 , dated 07-03-2019 . , the Government has notified Delimitation of Commune Panchayat Wards for the purpose of conduct of elections to the Commune Panchayats .

And whereas, in the said G.O. , in Annexure - I [ Statement showing the Wards into which Commune Panchayats have been divided and the extent of each such Commune Panchayat Wards ] , some errors in the boundaries of the ward (s ) , list of areas / streets included in the ward( s ) , spelling mistakes , etc. , have occurred in respect of Wards of Ariyankuppam , Bahour , Mannadipet , Nettapakkam , Villianur and Neravy Commune Panchayat as mentioned below: -

And whereas , it has been considered necessary to correct such errors in order to facilitate preparation of error free electoral roll and ultimately smooth conduct of elections to Commune Panchayats without any hitch .

Now, therefore , it is proposed to amend the said Annexure - I [ Statement showing the Wards into which Commune Panchayats have been divided and the extent of each such Commune Panchayat Wards ] as in the Annexure appended to this Notification .

Notice is hereby given for information of the general public calling for objections or suggestions to be sent to the Director, Local Administration Department, Government of Puducherry, within ten ( 10) days time from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette of Government of Puducherry, The objections or suggestions so received within the abovesaid time- limit shall be considered by the Government .
