The Committee shall hold its sittings in the premises of Observation Home at Ariyankuppam, Puducherry or the Office of the Assistant Director (Social Welfare) in the respective region.
The other terms and conditions mentioned in the G.Os read above in the reference shall remain unaltered.

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an industrial dispute has arisen between the management of M/s. Pondicherry Oxy-Acetylene Private Limited, Puducherry and All India United Trade Union Centre, Puducherry, over refusal of employment to Thiru M. Samikannu in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987), read with rule 4 of the Union territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority Rules, 1998 and on the recommendation of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to nominate Hon'ble Mr. Justice T. S. Sivagnanam, a Senior Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Madras, as the Executive Chairman of the Union territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority, Puducherry, with effect from the 14th day of May, 2021, vice Hon'ble Mr. Justice M. Sathyanarayanan, a Senior Judge of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras.

Puducherry, the 17th May 2021.
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of the Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry, for adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry, shall submit the Award within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court, Puducherry within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.
TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited from the public for the sale of old newspapers at per kg. rate on 28-06-2021 belonging to this Department as mentioned below:

2. Tenders in plain papers should be sealed and addressed to the Executive Engineer, Port Department, Puducherry, superscribing on the envelope as "Tenders for the purchase of old newspapers" and to reach the undersigned on or before 28-06-2021 by 10.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.30 a.m. in the presence of the tenderers who are present at that time.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) by cash as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender process is over. The earnest money deposit of the successful tenderer will be retained and the same will be adjusted at the final disposal of the old newspapers.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.
5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
6. The intending tenderers may inspect the old newspapers during office hours on any working day with the prior permission of the undersigned.
7. The old newspapers will be delivered to the successful tenderer after making weighment in the Department weigh bridge that is available in the New Port Complex, Puducherry.
8. No claim on the quality of the old newspapers will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
9. In case of any dispute the decision of the undersigned will be the final.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
11. The GST, if any, at the rate applicable will be charged and collected extra, over and above the sale proceeds. Therefore, the tenderer shall attach a self- attested copy of their valid GST Certificate.
