NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 4 of the Business of the Government of Puducherry (Allocation) Rules, 1963, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, in consultation with the Chief Minister, is pleased to allocate to the Ministers, the Business of the Government as below, in so far as they are required to aid and advise the Lieutenant-Governor under section 44 of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963:-

(ix) Port; (x) Science, Technology and Environment; (xi) Town and Country Planning; (xii) Information and Publicity; (xiii) Other subjects which are not allocated to any other Ministers.

2. Thiru A. Namassivayam, Home Minister

(i) Home; (ii) Electricity; (iii) Industries and Commerce; (iv) Education including Collegiate Education; (v) Sports and Youth Affairs; (vi) Sainik Welfare.

3. Thiru K. Lakshminarayanan, Public Works Minister

(i) Public Works;

(ii) Tourism and Civil Aviation; (iii) Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare; (iv) Law; (v) Information Technology; (vi) Stationery and Printing.

4. Thiru C. Djeacoumar, Agriculture Minister
