GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rate per lot for the sale of old condemned materials belonging to the Mahatma Gandhi Government Leprosy Hospital, Puducherry, in as-is-where-is condition on lot basis.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of 1937), read with rule 4 of the Union Territory 2. The indenting tenderers may inspect the items at the office of the undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon on 29-07-2021 and 30-07-2021 with the permission of the officer concerned.
3. The indenting tenderers may offer their tender rate both in figures and words for purchase of old condemned materials on lot basis in plain paper/letter head in a sealed cover and addressed to the Medical13 July 2021] LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT 297 Officer, Mahatma Gandhi Government Leprosy Hospital, Puducherry, duly superscribing on the envelope as "Tender for purchase of old condemned materials for the year 2021".
4. The sealed tenders should reach this office on or before 30-07-2021 at 12.45 p.m.. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of tenders, who are present at the time of opening of tenderers. If, the last day happens to be a public holiday, the same will be received and finalized on the next working day. Tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected.
5. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money deposit before submitting the tenders. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tenders/auction is over/finalized.
12. The earnest money deposit of the successful tenderer/bidder will be adjusted against the sale proceeds and the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after finalization of the tender.
13. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the full amount immediately along with the GST amount and clear the items within 24 hours during office hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. This office will not be in any way held responsible for the safe custody or any loss of sold articles.
14. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned in this regard will be the final and binding on all the tenders.

2. The tenders in sealed cover should be addressed to the "Vice-Principal, Thiruvalluvar Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, Puducherry-605 001'', duly superscribed on the envelope as "Tender for disposing e-waste materials" and should reach the undersigned on or before 28-07-2021 at 10.00 a.m. Tenders received will be opened on the same day at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of tenderers or their authorised representatives who are present at the time of opening the tenders. If, the tender opening day happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.
3. The intending tenderers should offer the rate for "the entire items as one lot" in their tender. The public action will be started from the highest rate quoted by the tenderers. The sale will be effected only to the highest rate quoted tenderer.

9. The tenderer/bidder should bring weighing scale/ machine at their own cost.
10. This office is not responsible for the safe custody of the articles once the tender/auction is completed. No claim on the quantity or quality of the unserviceable electronic and electrical items will be admitted once the tender is finalised.
