Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras, in the W.P. Nos. 21067, 21117 and 21708 of 2021, in supersession of the notification No. 1-4/M&P/Res./2021-22, dated 23rd August 2021 and in pursuance of rule 3 of Puducherry Municipalities (Allotment and Rotation of Reserved Seats and Offices) Rules, 1996, the State Election Commission hereby issues the Notification indicating the reservation and allotment of seats in respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Caste Women, General Women and General Categories in 5 (Five) Municipalities in the Union territory of Puducherry.
