In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Puducherry Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1967 (Act 5 of 1967) and in supersession of the G.O. Ms. No. 5/Tr.Sectt./2020, dated 23-04-2020 of the Transport Secretariat, Puducherry, G.O. Ms. No. 9/TD/Tax/2020, dated 02-09-2020 of the Transport Department, Puducherry, G.O. Ms. No. 15/TD/Tax/2020, dated 14-10-2020 of the Transport Department, Puducherry, G.O. Ms. No. 16/TD/Tax/2020, dated 10-11-2020 of the Transport Department, Puducherry, G.O. Ms No. 01/TD/Tax/ 2020-21, dated 22-01-2021 of the Transport Department, Puducherry, G.O. Ms. No. 06/Tr./Sectt./2021, dated 31-05-2021 of the Transport Secretariat, Puducherry, G.O. Ms. No. 08/Tr.Sectt./2021, dated 05-07-2021 of the Transport Secretariat, Puducherry, G.O. Ms. No. 13/Tr.Sectt./2021, dated 28-10-2021 of the Transport Secretariat, Puducherry, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to extend the time-limit for the payment of Motor Vehicle Tax (without penalty) prescribed, up to 31-12-2021 for the period from 01-10-2020 to 31-12-2021 with respect to Stage Carriages, Contract Carriages including classified as Tourist Vehicles and Educational Institutions Vehicles used or kept for use in the Union territory of Puducherry.
