Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962, 10% of the market value of the land on the date of the notification under section 3 (1) of the said Act shall be paid as compensation by the Petroleum Companies for acquiring Right of User (RoU) in Land from the land owners to lay Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipelines.
