NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the provisions contained under rule 4(1) of the Scheme for Financial Assistance to the Hindu Religious Institutions in the various parts of Puducherry notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 66/CHRI/ T6(GIA)/2004-05, dated 15-02-2005 of Revenue (Hindu Religious Institutions and Wakf) Department and published in Part-II, Extordinary Gazette No. 10, dated 15-02-2005 of the Official Gazette of Puducherry [ 11 ]

and in supersession of the Notification No. 2576/CHRI/T6(GIA)/2010-11,

dated 02-07-2010 published in the Gazette No. 29, dated 20-07-2010, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to sanction ` 3,50,000 (Rupees three lakhs and fifty thousand only) as one time quantum of

assistance to the Temples located in Economically Weaker Section Areas/

Adi Dravidar Colony Areas for carrying out Renovation and Special

Repair Works. Subject to conditions as specified in the rules to regulate

the release of Financial Assistance to the Hindu Religious Institutions

in the Union territory of Puducherry, for carrying out renovation and

special repair works.

2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department

issued vide I.D.No. 4272/PRO/FD/F4/Al/2021-22, dated 12-01-2022.
