NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 42 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (Central Act 35 of 2019), read with sub-rule (1) of rule 6 of the Consumer Protection (Qualification for appointment, method of recruitment, procedure of appointment, term of office, resignation and removal of the President and Members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2020 notified by Government of India vide G.S.R.452(E), dated 15th July, 2020, the Hon'ble Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry is pleased to appoint Tmt. S. Oumasanguery, w/o. V. V. Steephen, No. 29, Fourth Cross Street, Rainbow Nagar, Puducherry-605 011, as the Member (Non-Judicial) of the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Puducherry.

2. The appointment shall be for a period of 4 years from the date of assumption of charge or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

3. The appointment shall be subject to submission of a Certificate of Physical Fitness as indicated in the Annexure appended to the Consumer Protection (Qualification for appointment, method of recruitment, procedure of appointment, term of office, resignation and removal of the President and Members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2020.

4. The salary, allowances and conditions of service of the above appointment shall be governed by the Puducherry Consumer Protection (salary, allowances and conditions of service of President and Members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2021.

Pattinam and in-lieu thereof, 11th June, 2022 (Saturday) will be a compensatory working day.

(ii) Smt. Padma Jaiswal, I.A.S., (AGMUT:2003) shall, in addition to the charges already held by her, hold of the subjects 'Sainik Welfare and Freedom Fighters Cell' relieving Shri S.D. Sundaresan, I.A.S., of these charges.

(ix) Dr. T. Arun, I.A.S., (AGMUT:2013) shall, in addition to the charges already held by him (other than Industries and Commerce), hold charge of the subjects 'Power, Public Works and Tourism'. He is also appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Puducherry Smart City Development Limited.

(x) Ms. Rishita Gupta, I.A.S., (AGMUT:2019) shall, in addition to the charges already held by her is appointed as Project Director, DRDA.

NOTIFICATION

In pursuance of the Order No. 14020/02/2020-UTS-I, dated 20-04-2022 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi and on having reported for duty in this Administration on 16-05-2022 afternoon, the Lieutenant- Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to post Shri Santosh Kumar Meena, I.P.S., (AGMU:2010), as Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Puducherry.
