2. The rate should be quoted for each items as follows:-

Rate per kilogram (a) Old Tamil newspapers . . ` (b) Old English newspapers . . ` (c) Old Tamil magazines . . ` (d) Old English magazines . . ` (e) Old Library books . . `

3. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed as "Tender for the purchase of old newspapers, magazines and library books" should be addressed to the Principal, Bharathidasan Government College for Women, Puducherry-605 003, so as to reach on or before 04-07-2022 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of tenderers present. The tenderer who quotes the highest rate will be the successful tenderer and tender will be finalized on his/her favour.

5. Further, in the event of successful tenderer failing to pay the cost in full and lift the old newspapers, magazines and books at the agreed rate at his/her own expenses before the close of third day counted from the date of receipt of communication from this College, the earnest money deposit will be once and forever forfeited in favour of the Government and the concerned tenderer will lose the right of removal of the items. If, the said third day happens to be a Government Holiday, the date will be extended till the next working day on receipt of specific request, in writing, from the tenderer.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason what so ever. Any contravention of the rules of Tender Notice will result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.

7. No claim about the quantity, quality and the value of the sold goods will be admitted after the tender is finalized. The removal of items from this Institution shall be only during working hours.

8. GST will be collected as per existing rates.

9. The successful tenderer should make his/her own arrangements to weigh the old newspapers, magazines and books subject to the satisfaction of the undersigned in regard to weighment.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest money of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only). The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderer will be refunded after finalizing the tender and that of those successful tenderer will be deducted towards the cost of the items.

In conformity with rule 11 of the Puducherry Commune Panchayats (Grant of Licences and Permissions) Rules, 1976, promulgated in this Union Territory by the Puducherry Village and Commune Panchayats Act, 1973, objections, if any, to the setting up of the above industry, are invited to reach the Commissioner, Kottucherry Commune Panchayat within ten days from the date of publication of this notice in the Official Gazette.

The objections received after the stipulated period will not be considered.

Due to the above reasons, I have decided to change my son's name as 'M.Maka Sai Ariya' from the original name of 'M.Saina' based on the numerological aspects for his bright future in all aspects.

I, K. Manimegalan, son of Kaliappan and Arayi, aged 47 years, Hindu, Business residing at new No. 32, old No. 25, Mariamman Kovil Street, Kalmedupet, Villianur Commune, Puducherry, having come down to Karaikal, do hereby solemnly affirm and sincerely state on oath as follows:

I do declare that hereinafter, my son shall be called and known as 'M.Maka Sai Ariya' for all purposes.

I submit that my son was born at Karaikal on 26-11-2020 and his birth was duly registered with the Karaikal Municipality, Karaikal. As per his Birth Certificate, his name is mentioned as 'M.Saina' and the said name is seems like a female name.

I am swearing this affidavit for the knowledge of my relatives, friends, general public and the entire private and Government organizations to know that hereinafter, my son shall be called and known as 'M.Maka Sai Ariya'.
