NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the Notification No. F.5/4/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi and in partial modification of this Department's Notification issued vide G.O. Ms. No. 52, dated 26-05-2016 and published as a Supplement to the Official Gazette No. 24, dated 14th June 2016, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of Editor of Debates/Tamil Reporter Recruitment Rules, 2016, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" (Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) post of Editor of Debates/Tamil Reporter Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of Editor of Debates/Tamil Reporter Recruitment Rules, 2016, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."
3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of Editor of Debates/Tamil Reporter Recruitment Rules, 2016:-
(a) In Column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"4. Level in the Pay Matrix : Level-7 (` 44,900 – ` 1,42,400)"
(b) In Column (11), under the heading "Composite method Deputation (ISTC)/Promotion";
(i) against the Serial No. 1 (a) (ii), for the words and figures "Pay Band-2 ` 9,300 – 34,800 + Grade Pay of ` 4,200", the words and figures "Level-6 in the Pay Matrix (` 35,400 – ` 1,12,400)" shall be substituted;
(ii) against the Serial No. 1 (a) (iii), for the words and figures "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of ` 2,800", the words and figures "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix (` 29,200 - 92,300)" shall be substituted;
(iii) against the Serial No. 1 (a) (iv), for the words and figures "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of ` 2,400", the words and figures "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (` 25,500 – 81,100)" shall be substituted;
(iv) against the Serial No. 2, for the words and figures "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of ` 2,400", the words and figures "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (` 25,500 – 81,100)" shall be substituted.

Ms. No. 53, dated 26-05-2016 and published as a Supplement to the Official Gazette No. 24, dated 14th June 2016, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of English Reporter Recruitment Rules, 2016, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" (Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) post of English Reporter Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of English Reporter Recruitment Rules, 2016, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."
3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of English Reporter Recruitment Rules, 2016:-
(a) In Column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"4. Level in the Pay Matrix : Level-7 (` 44,900 – ` 1,42,400)"
(b) In Column (11), under the heading "Deputation (ISTC)/Absorption";
(i) against the Serial No. (a) (ii), for the words and figures "Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of ` 4,200", the words and figures "Level-6 in the Pay Matrix (` 35,400 – ` 1,12,400)" shall be substituted;
(ii) against the Serial No. (a) (iii), for the words and figures "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of ` 2,800", the words and figures "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix (` 29,200 – ` 92,300)" shall be substituted.

Ms. No. 21, dated 17-03-2016 and published as a Supplement to the Official Gazette No. 14, dated 5th April 2016, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of Reference Officer Recruitment Rules, 2016, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) post of Reference Officer Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of Reference Officer Recruitment Rules, 2016, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."
3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of Reference Officer Recruitment Rules, 2016:-
(a) In Column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"4. Level in the Pay Matrix : Level-6 (` 35,400 – ` 1,12,400)"
(b) In Column (11), under the heading "Deputation : (Including Short-Term Contract)";
(i) against the Serial No. (a) (ii), for the words and figures "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of ` 2,800", the words and figures "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix (` 29,200 – ` 92,300)" shall be substituted;
(ii) against the Serial No. (a) (iii), for the words and figures "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of ` 2,400" the words and figures "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (` 25,500 – ` 81,100)" shall be substituted.

Ms. No. 29, dated 06-05-2015 and published as a Supplement to the Official Gazette No. 20, dated 19th May 2015, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Stenographer Grade-II (Tamil) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) post of Stenographer Grade-II (Tamil) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Stenographer Grade-II (Tamil) Recruitment Rules, 2015, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."
3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Stenographer Grade-II (Tamil) Recruitment Rules, 2015 :-
(a) In Column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"4. Level in the Pay Matrix : Level-4 (` 25,500 – ` 81,100)"
(b) In Column (10), under the Note;
(i) against the Serial No. a (ii), for the words and figures "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of ` 1,900", the words and figures "Level-2 in the Pay Matrix (` 19,900 – ` 63,200) shall be substituted.

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) post of Watch and Ward Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Watch and Ward Recruitment Rules, 2015, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."
3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Watch and Ward Recruitment Rules, 2015:-
(a) In Column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"4. Level in the Pay Matrix : Level-2 (` 19,900 – ` 63,200)"
(b) In Column (10), under the Note;
(i) against the Serial No. a (ii), for the words and figures" Pay Band-l ` 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay ` 1,800", the words and figures "Level-l in the Pay Matrix (` 18,000 – ` 56,900) shall be substituted.

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" (Gazetted and Ministerial) post of Private Secretary to Speaker Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "B" post of Private Secretary to Speaker Recruitment Rules, 2016, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" (Non-Gazetted and Ministerial) post of Junior Personal Assistant to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Junior Personal Assistant to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment Rules, 2015, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."

(b) In Column (11),

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) post of Driver to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Driver to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment Rules, 2015, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."
3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Driver to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment Rules, 2015:-

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group -"C" (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) post of Multi Tasking Staff (General) to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Multi Tasking Staff (General) to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment Rules, 2015, the following shall be substituted namely:-
"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said post, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed thereto."
3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Group "C" post of Driver to Speaker/Deputy Speaker Recruitment Rules, 2015:-
