It is informed that the Government of Puducherry has constituted the Independent Multi-disciplinary "Expert Group" under sub-section (1) and (2) of section 7 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation Resettlement Act, 2013 to evaluate the Social Impact Assessment Report submitted by the Social Impact Assessment Team in respect of Acquisition of Land for "Construction of Railway Station with yard arrangements at Thirunallar under the New Broad Gauge line between Peralam-Karaikal".
