It is informed that the Government of Puducherry has constituted the Independent Multi-disciplinary "Expert Group" under sub-section (1) and (2) of section 7 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation Resettlement Act, 2013 to evaluate the Social Impact Assessment Report submitted by the Social Impact Assessment Team in respect of Acquisition of Land for "Construction of Railway Station with yard arrangements at Thirunallar under the New Broad Gauge line between Peralam-Karaikal".

Sealed tenders offering rate per kilogram are invited for sale of old newspapers and magazines belonging to the College as detailed below :

3. Tenders received after the stipulated date and time will not be accepted.

4. The successful tenderer should pay the amount in full immediately and remove the articles at his/her own cost.

5. The Principal, Avvaiyar Government College for Women, Karaikal, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

(a) Government Guest House, Uppalam and (b) Yatrinivas, Puducherry.

2. The intending tenderers can inspect the unserviceable articles during the office hours on any working day but, on or before the auction date at this Department with the prior permission of the undersigned.

3. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the Director, Department of Tourism, No. 23, Ambedkar Salai, Uppalam, Puducherry-605 001, duly superscripted on the envelope as "Tender for the purchase of unserviceable/obsolete articles (wooden/steel/plastic)" and should reach this office on or before 15-12-2022 by 10.00 a.m. The received tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.30 a.m. in the presence of tenderers who are present at the time of opening the tenders. If, the scheduled date of tender happens to be a public holiday, the date of receipt of opening of tenders will automatically be postponed to next working day at the same time.

5. The tenderers should offer the rate for 'the entire items as one lot' in their tender. If, the highest tender amount offered by the tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the undersigned, the public auction will be conducted on the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid value.

6. The following self-attested photocopy of the documents/certificates must be enclosed along with tenders:–

(i) Valid GST Certificate

(ii) PAN Card

(iii) Aadhaar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/Valid Driving Licence

Tenders without these documents/certificate will be rejected.

7. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the entire amount to this office after the completion of tender process otherwise the earnest money deposit amount will be forfeited and the tenderer/bidder should pay the applicable GST to the Bank and submit the challan to this office, then only the tenderer/bidder is allowed to take the items of this Department. Also the successful tenderer/bidder is liable to take the items within 24 hours at their own risk and cost to make arrangement regarding the removal of items.

8. Other than the tenderer/bidder or his/her authorised person will not be admitted at the time of opening the tender/auction.

9. If, any/all participant(s) misbehaves during the time of tender/auction process, the tenderer/bidder will be removed from the place of auction and also his/her/ their tender/auction will be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
