Ms. No. 4/LD./2023, Puducherry, dated 23rd January 2023) NOTIFICATION The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to approve the amendment for modifying the composition of the Selection Committee under "The Grant of Honorarium to Legal Researcher Scheme Rules, 2022", previously notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 10/LD./2022, Puducherry, dated 4th July 2022 of the Law Department and published vide Extraordinary Part-II, Gazette No. 29, dated 8th July 2022 of the Government of Puducherry (hereinafter referred as the said Scheme Rules), namely:– [ 101 ]

I. Short title, extent and commencement.— (i) This Scheme guidelines shall be called "The Grant of Honorarium to Legal Researcher (Amendment) Scheme Rules, 2023".

(ii) These rules shall apply to the whole of the Union territory

of Puducherry.

(iii) These rules shall come into force with effect from the date

of its publication in the Official Gazette.

II. AMENDMENT

1. Amendment of rule 5.— In the said Scheme Rules, in clause (v) of rule 5, after the words, 'Director of Prosecution', the figures and words, "/Deputy Secretary (Law)/Under Secretary (Law)" shall be inserted.
