NOTIFICATION
Approval of the Hon'ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is
hereby conveyed for the modalities to be followed for making payment
of compensation to the affected fishermen of Yanam region towards loss
of livelihood due to the laying of 20" Gas Export Pipeline from offshore
platform to onshore plant at Mallavaram Village in East Godavari District,

The guidelines regarding eligibility criteria shall be in accordance with those in Andhra Pradesh. The authorities responsible in this issue must make sure that all the eligible beneficiaries only are identified and compensated in accordance with the guidelines approved. No consideration shall ever be provided to ineligible beneficiaries. The procedure for identification of beneficiaries, social audit norms, etc., laid down in the G.O. shall strictly be followed by the concerned authorities.
