Land Reforms proceedings was initiated to acquire surplus land holdings situated at Kodathur, Kakilapet, Suthukeny, Thethampakkam and Manamedu Revenue Villages in Villianur and Bahour Taluks in respect of the assessee Thiru Manickavasaga Reddiar, son of Sangara Reddiar under the Pondicherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973.
