National Security Act, 1980 (Central Act 65 of 1980), directing that the District Magistrate, Puducherry and Karaikal, may also, if satisfied, as provided in sub-section (2) of the said section, exercise the powers conferred by the said sub-section for a period of three months from 28th April, 2023 vide Home Department’s Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 20 , dated 23rd May, 2023.
