Proposal for Constitution of Judicial Magistrate-cum-District Munsif Court at Yanam and creation of various posts for the proposed Court has been initiated based on the recommendations and approval of the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras vide R.O.C.No. 15259/2016/Pondy, dated 04-05-2016 of Hon’ble High Court of Madras and in compliance to the Order, dated 21-03-2022 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition No. 1022 of 1989 filed by All India Judges Association.
