Whereas, the proposal for revision of the Minimum rates of wages payable to the employees employed in Building operations in the Union territory of Puducherry, is hereby published as required under clause (b) of section (1) of section 5 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act No. 11 of 1948) in notification issued by the Labour Department vide G.O. Ms. No. 18/Lab./AIL/G/ 2022, dated 28-10-2022 and published in the Official Gazette No. 46, dated 15-11-2022 inviting objections and suggestions from all the persons likely to be affected thereby within sixty days from the date of publication Sl. 2. And whereas, the said Official Gazette Notification was notified for information of the general public on 15th November 2022;

3. And whereas, pursuant to the said notification, no objections or suggestions have been received within the abovesaid stipulated time limit;

4. And whereas, in pursuance of the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 5, the Minimum Wages Advisory Board constituted under section 7 of the said Class – I 801 Class – II 789 6 Plumbers for road pipe work

Act has also been consulted with regard of the aforesaid revision of minimum rates of wages;

under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 3, read with sub-section (2) of section 5 and sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act 11 of 1948) and in supersession of the notification issued under G.O. Ms. No. 18/Lab./AIL/G/2015, dated 14-10-2015 of the Labour Department, Puducherry, published in the Official Gazette of Puducherry No. 35, dated 30-06-2016 and after consultation with the Minimum Wages Advisory Board, the Lieutenant- Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to revise the minimum rates of wages in respect of the employees employed in Building operations in the Union territory of Puducherry as specified in the Schedule hereunder:

(i) The Dearness Allowance is linked to the average Puducherry Consumer Price Index Points for the year 2021 i.e., 366 points (Base year 2001=100) and for every raise of one point over and above 366 points, an increase of ` 2.17 per day shall be calculated as Dearness Allowance.

2. Where, the nature of work is the same, no discrimination on the payment of Minimum rates of wages shall be made in respect of the male and female employees.

3. To arrive at the monthly wages, the daily rates of Class – I 819 wages shall be multiplied by 30.

1. Dearness Allowance:— In addition to the above minimum rates of wages, the employees shall be paid Dearness Allowance as indicated below:-

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an industrial dispute has arisen between the management of M/s. New India Associates, Puducherry and All India United Trade Union Centre, over reinstatement of Thiru D. Ashok Kumar with continuity of service along with other benefits, in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

The Labour Court, Puducherry, shall submit the Award within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court, Puducherry, within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an industrial dispute has arisen between the management of M/s. Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal and the Union workmen Tmt. R. Kamali and 13 others represented by the Union for all staff in Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal, over granting promotion, in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an industrial dispute has arisen between the management of M/s. Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal and Thiru M. Shankar, over non-employment, in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/9/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991, of the Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry, for adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry, shall submit the Award

within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court, Puducherry, within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of obsolete wooden logs in the premises of the Office of the MOH Farook Maricar Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, Kalapet, Puducherry, which will be disposed off by tender.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.00 hours in the presence of the tenderers those who are present at that time.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount (after deduction of earnest money deposit) of the tender immediately and should submit the copy of the receipt of GST amount paid to the Commercial Taxes De p a r t m e n t a n d s h o u l d r e m o v e t h e i t e m s w i t h i n 24 hours at his/her own risk and expenses.

9. The materials can be inspected during office hours on any working day of this office till 25th September 2023. The items will be disposed as it is and where it is.

10. No claim about the quantity/quality and value of the items will be entertained after opening the tenders.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or the whole tender process without assigning any reason thereof.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.
