NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an industrial dispute has arisen between the management of M/s. Larsen & Toubro Private Limited, (Metal Shop Unit), Puducherry and L & T Jananayaga Thozhilalargal Sangam, over payment of Bonus @ 20% and ex gratia @ 20% for the year 2021-22, in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/9/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of the Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred to the Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry for adjudication. The Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry, shall submit the Award within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry, within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

(i) Whether the dispute raised by the petitioners Union L & T Jananayaga Thozhilalargal Sangam (Affiliated with AICCTU), Puducherry, against the management of M/s. Larsen & Toubro Private Limited, (Metal Shop Unit), over payment of maximum bonus @ 20% and ex gratia amount @ 20% to the workers Thiruvalargal A. Dinakaran and 14 others (as mentioned in the Annexure) for the year 2021-22 is legal and justified? If justified, to give appropriate direction?

(ii) To compute the relief, if any, awarded in terms of money if, it can be so computed.

Aeon Formulations Private Limited, Thirubuvanaipalayam, Puducherry and Pudhiya Jananayaga Thozhilalar Munnani, over non-employment of Thiruvalargal T. Karthik and other attendant benefits, in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of unserviceable/obsolete articles such as wooden, steel, furniture, items of aluminium, stainless steel, brass and Library books, etc., belonging to this Institution in "as-is-where-is" condition.

2. The intending tenderers can inspect the items in the premises of Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, Thiruvandarkoil, Puducherry, during office hours with the prior permission of the Head of this Institution and without any disturbance to the students.

3. Tenders should be addressed to the "Vice-Principal, Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, Thiruvandarkoil, Puducherry-605 102", duly sealed and superscripted on the envelope as "Tender for the purchase of old unserviceable/obsolete items" and shall reach the undersigned on or before 19-01-2024 by 2.00 p.m. The received tenders will be opened on the same day at 2.30 p.m. in the presence of tenderers or their authorised representatives who are present at the time.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as an earnest money deposit (EMD) at the time of submitting their tenders. The tenders without earnest money deposit will summarily be rejected.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender sale over, whereas, the earnest money deposit of the successful tenderer will be returned after the official process completed in all respects.

6. The tenderers should offer the rate for "the entire items as one lot" in their tender, the public auction will be conducted from the highest rate quoted by the tenderers. The sale will be effected only to the highest bidder.

7. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the entire amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

8. No claim on the quantity or quality of the items will be admitted, once the tender/auction sale is finalised.
