NOTIFICATION

The Puducherry Traders' Welfare Board was constituted in the Union territory of Puducherry vide G.O. Ms. No. 4/CTD/A1/2015, dated 11th January, 2016 of the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, Puducherry. The Memorandum of Association and the Rules and Regulations of the Puducherry Traders' Welfare Board have also been notified in the said Government Order.

2. As per the G.O. Ms. No. 4/CTD/A1/2015, dated 11th January, 2016 of the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, Puducherry, the Puducherry Traders' Welfare Board shall consist of Official Members and Non-official Members. The Official Members of the Puducherry Traders' Welfare Board have been notified in the said Government Order, and seven Non-official Members h a v e t o b e n o m i n a t e d b y t h e G o v e r n m e n t f r o m the Representatives of the Traders' Association not exceeding one from each Traders' Association or Trading Community, representing the four regions of the Union territory of Puducherry. As per the Memorandum of Association of the Board, the General-Body of the Board shall consist of the Official Members and Non-official Members.

3. Now, therefore, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to nominate the following as Non-official Members of the Puducherry Traders' Welfare Board, namely:–
