Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, has imposed a uniform ban on fishing by all fishing vessels (except traditional non-motorized units) in the Indian Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) beyond territorial waters on the East Coast (including Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu) from 15 April to 14 June, 2024.
