District Magistrates, Puducherry and Karaikal, may also, if satisfied, as provided in sub-section (2) of the said section, exercise the powers conferred by the said sub-section for a period of three months from 28th January, 2024 vide Home Department’s Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 09, dated 25th January, 2024.
