Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned offering the rate per kilogram for the purchase of old newspapers (Tamil/English) as mentioned below.

The rates should be quoted for each item separately.

Rate per kilogram (1) Old Tamil newspapers . . ` (2) Old English newspapers . . ` 2. The tenders in sealed covers superscripted as "Tender for purchase of old Tamil and English newspapers" should be addressed to the Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute for Men, T.R.Pattinam, Karaikal and sent to this office so as to reache on or before 27-06-2024 at 11.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.30 a.m. in the presence of the tenderers those who are present at that time. In case, the day for tender opening being declared as a public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be received and opened at ll.30.am on the next working day.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderer will be refunded immediately after the finalization of the tenders.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will not be accepted under any circumstances.

8. No claim on the quality, quantity and value of the said goods will be entertained, once the tender is finalized.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof. Contravention of the rules of the Tender Notice will result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.

9. The materials can be inspected during the office hours on 26-06-2024 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

7. The successful tenderer shall arrange to weigh the old newspapers, pay the cost thereof along with the applicable taxes and clear the items within 24 hours from the time of the tender is over at his/her own risk and cost, failing which his/her earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
