NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Central Act 49 of 1988) read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Notification issued in S.O.No. l25(E), d a t e d 1 4 t h F e b r u a r y, 1 9 8 9 , t h e L i e u t e n a n t - G o v e r n o r , P u d u c h e r r y, o n the recommendations of the Hi gh Co urt o f M adras, i s plea sed to appoint Thiru S. Muruganantham, District and Sessions Judge, Karaikal, as Special Judge for Karaikal region for the purpose of the said Act and for the said purpose here by makes the follo wing Amendment to the No tifi cati on iss ued unde r G.O. Ms. No. 1, dated 24th July, 2001 of the Confidential and Cabinet Department (Chief Vigilance Office), Puducherry and published in Part-I of the Extraordinary Gazette No. 106, dated 26th July, 2001, namely:– LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 590 590
AMENDMENT
In the Table to the said Notification, for the existing entries under column (2) against serial number 2, the following shall be substituted, namely:
Thiru S. Muruganantham, District and Sessions Judge, Karaikal.
2. This Notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from forenoon of 05-06-2024.
