NOTIFICATION
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, New Delhi, in supersession of the Solatium Scheme, 1989 had notified the Scheme namely, "The Compensation to Victims of Hit and Run Motor Accidents Scheme, 2022. As per the said Scheme, there shall be a District Level Committee in each District.
2. In accordance with paragraph 11 of the Compensation to Victim of Hit and Run Motor Accidents Scheme, 2022, read with the Letter, dated 23rd March, 2022 of the Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, New Delhi, the Government of Puducherry has constituted the District Level C o mmi t t e e f o r t he P ud uc h e r r y D i s t r i c t a n d K a r a i k a l D i s t r i c t u n d e r t he sai d Scheme vid e G.O. M s. No. 8/Tr.Sect t./2 022, dat ed 2 2-08-20 22 of the Under Secretary to Government (Transport), Transport Department, Puducherry.
