NOTIFICATION
As per the revised guidelines for Implementation of Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan(SCSP) issued by the Planning Commission (SJ & E Division), the State Level Scheduled Castes Development Council was constituted in the Union territory of Puducherry vide G.O. Ms. No. 03/ADW & STW/2024, dated 01-02-2024 of this Secretariat.
2. As per guidelines and the Adi Dravidar Welfare and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department is being the Nodal Department for Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan (SCSP), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to include one Member in the State Level Scheduled Castes Development Council, in the Union territory of Puducherry, in addition to the existing Members as detailed below:-

GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT (POWER) DEPARTMENT

Puducherry Power Corporation Limited and also as the Managing Director, Puducherry Power Corporation Limited, in addition to the charges held by him until further orders vide G.O. Ms. No. 7, dated 04-03-2024 of the Industrial Development (Power) Department, Puducherry.
2. In view of the announcement of General Lok Sabha Election, 2024, the additional charge of Managing Director, PPCL held by Shri. D. Manikandan, I.A.S., was revoked vide G.O. Ms. No. 11, dated 15-03-2024 of the Industrial Development (Power) Department, Puducherry.
3. Consequent on the completion of the election process, the order in G.O. Ms. No. 7, dated 04-03-2024 of the Industrial Development (Power) Department, Puducherry, is brought into effect, immediately.

ORDER
In partial modification of the G.O. Ms. No. 123, dated 18-12-2014 of the Chief Secretariat (Education), Puducherry, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to further amend "The Pondicherry Private Professional Educational Institutions (Provision of Reservation, Admission of Students and Fixation of Fees) Regulations, 2006" (hereinafter referred to as the Principal regulation), notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 63, dated 25-05-2006 of the Chief Secretariat (Education), Puducherry and published in the Gazette No. 24, dated 13th June, 2006 of Puducherry, so as to provide for the reconstitution of the Fee Committee constituted for the purpose of fixing the fee structures and overseeing the admission process in various Unaided Private Professional Colleges of the Union territory of Puducherry, namely:-
AMENDMENT REGULATIONS
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These regulations may be called the Puducherry Private Professional Educational Institutions (Provisions of Reservation, Admission of Students and Fixation of Fees) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2024.
(2) These regulations shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Regulation 4 of Principal Regulation.— The composition of the Fee Committee prescribed in regulation 4 of the Principal regulation, subsequently amended in the G.O. Ms. No. 123, dated 18-12-2014 of the Chief Secretariat (Education), Puducherry, shall stand modified to the following extent:-
The composition of Fee Committee for Medical Courses (a) A retired Judge of High Court, Madras . . Chairman (to be nominated by the Chief Justice, High Court of Judicature at Madras).
(b) Chartered Accountant (to be . . Member nominated by the Chairman).
(c) A representative of Medical Council . . Member of India in respect of Health Medical Education.
(d) Director (Health), Puducherry. . . Member 3. All other regulations stipulated in the G.Os. read above remain unaltered.

TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the disposal of old Tamil and English newspapers, magazines and old exam papers accumulated in stores of this Institution. Rates should be quoted separately for each item as follows:
Rate per kilogram (1) Old Tamil newspapers . .
(2) Old English newspapers . .
(3) Old Magazines . .
(4) Old Exam papers . .
2. Tenders in sealed covers superscribed as "Tender for purchase of old newspapers, magazines and old exam papers" should be addressed to the Principal, Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Arts College, Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry-605 107, should be sent to this office on or before at 3.00 p.m. on 30-08-2024. The received tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives those who are present.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of 300 (Rupees three hundred only) in cash as earnest money deposit (EMD) along with the their tender up to 3.00 p.m. on 30-08-2024. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately soon after the tender sale is over.
4. The newspapers may be inspected during office hours on any working day.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time prescribed will summarily be rejected.
