TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old condemned furniture, lab articles and library books of the Kalaignar Karunanithi Government Higher Secondary School, Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry, as detailed in the Annexure will be disposed off 'as a single lot' in "as-is-where-is-condition".
Terms and Conditions
1. The tenders in a sealed cover should be addressed to the Vice-Principal, Kalaignar Karunanithi Government Higher Secondary School, Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry, duly sealed and superscripted on the envelope as "Tender for purchase of old condemned furniture, lab articles and library books". The tender should reach the undersigned on or before at 10.00 a.m. on 19-09-2024 (Thursday). The tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.
2. All the intending tenderers may inspect the items during the office working hours on any working days, at Kalaignar Karunanithi Government Higher Secondary School, Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry, with the permission of the Vice-Principal, without any disturbance to the students.
3. The tenders will be opened on 19-09-2024 at 10.30 a.m. in the presence of the tenderers who are present in the chamber of Vice-Principal, Kalaignar Karunanithi Government Higher Secondary School, Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry. If, the tender date happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.

4. If, the highest tender amount offered in the Tender- Form is found to be not acceptable by the undersigned, then public auction will be conducted on the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as the minimum price for the bid of the auction.
5. The intending tenderers/bidders should deposit an amount of 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) in cash as earnest money deposit at the time of submitting the Tender-Form. The earnest money deposit amount for unsuccessful tenderers/bidders will be returned immediately after the tender/bid process is over/ finalized. The tender/bid without an earnest money deposit will be rejected.
6. The tenderers/bidders should submit the following self-attested photocopies.
(i) A copy of valid GSTIN;
(ii) A copy of a PAN Card and;
(iii) A copy of an Aadhaar Card.
If, any false representation is found during the tender/bid process, the tender/bid submitted by him/her/ them will be cancelled and the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
7. If, any/all participants misbehave(s) during the tender/bid process, the tenderer/bidder(s) will be removed from the place, also their tenders will be rejected and an earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
8. Any other person other than the tenderer or his/ her authorized person will not be admitted at the time of opening the tender/auction process.
9. T he successful tenderer/bidder should remit the e ntire amo unt to the Cashier, Kalaignar Karunanithi Government Higher Secondary School, Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry, immediately after finalization of the tender. The applicable rate of GST will be charged on the tender/bid amount as per the rules.

The entire old condemned furniture, lab articles and library books should be removed within 24 hours after finalization of the tender at his/her own risk and cost. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles will be entertained once the tender/bid is finalized. This office will not be held any responsibility for the items, once the tender/bid is finalized. The earnest money deposit amount of successful tenderer/bidder will be released after clearing the unserviceable materials from the Kalaignar Karunanithi Government Higher Secondary School.
11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/ reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof, in the public interest.
12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.
