Ms. No. 05/Fy.,/32 Puducherry, dated 03rd January 2025)AMENDMENT NOTIFICATION Approval of the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby conveyed for making changes in the modalities to be followed for disbursement of compensation to the affected fishermen of Yanam region towards loss of livelihood due to the laying of 20" gas export pipeline from offshore platform to onshore plant at Mallavaram Village in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh through the Yanam area of the Union territory of Puducherry by M/s. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (M/s. ONGC) under the new project "DEEP Water NELP BLOCK KG-DWN-98/2" as tabulated below. [231] 232 LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [PART–II

The fishers whose livelihood is fishing activity or any other fishery related activity ( p a r t t i m e / s e a s o n a l fishing activity) as recommended by the Regional Level Committee, shall be considered for payment of compensation.

The fishers whose livelihood is fishing activity or any other fishery related activity ( p a r t t i m e / s e a s o n a l fishing activity) as recommended by Regional Level Committee on or before 29-02-2024 shall be considered for payment of compensation.

(ii) Para 3 in G.O.Ms. No. 04/Fy., dated 07-11-2024.

T h e R e g i o n a l Administrator, Yanam to ensure that the total No. of beneficiaries should not exceed 5520 Nos. for ONGC compensation for 29 months and 12 ½ days as approved by M/s. ONGC, after the issue of the Amendment.

T h e R e g i o n a l Administrator, Yanam to ensure that the total No. of beneficiaries should not exceed 5520 Nos. for ONGC compensation for 24 months period as approved by M/s. ONGC, after the issue of the Amendment.

2. All other conditions stipulated in the earlier notifications vide G.O. Ms. No. 05/Fy., dated 17-08-2022, G.O. Ms. No. 07/Fy., dated 15-02-2023, G.O. Ms. No. 12/Fy., dated 06-03-2024 and G.O. Ms. No. 04/Fy., dated 07-11-2024 of the Under Secretary to Government (Fisheries), Chief Secretariat, Puducherry, shall remain unaltered.
