CHIEF SECRETARIAT (ADI DRAVIDAR WELFARE AND SCHEDULED TRIBES WELFARE)(G.O. Ms. No. 01/2025/CS (ADW & STW), Puducherry, dated 10th January 2025) NOTIFICATION The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to accord approval to enhance the quantum of financial assistance granted to the Inter-Caste Married Couples and for the said purpose hereby makes the following further Amendments to the Scheme "Incentive for Inter-Caste Marriage" notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 13/79-HEW(HW), dated 31st January, 1979 of the Health, Electricity and Works Department, Puducherry and published in the Gazette No. 8, dated 20-02-1979 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), namely:- [249] 250 LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [PART–II

AMENDMENT

1.	I n the sai d rul es, in rul e 2 for the words and figures " 2,50,000" thereof, the words and figures " 3,00,000" shall be substituted.
2.	for rule 3, the following shall be substituted namely:- "3. The amount of " 3,00,000 referred to in rule 2 shall be put in the fixed deposit, jointly in the name of the couple (first name being of the woman), for a lock-in period of three years without facility for its premature encashment in a Government/Nationalized Bank".

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date

of its Publication in the Official Gazette.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department, Puducherry vide I.D.No. E.Comp.No. l9880/FD/F5/A1/FC/24-25, dated 02-12-2024.
