Notices were issued to the following 5308 Societies (Refer: Annexure–1) directing them to submit annual statutory returns with the Registrar. Since, these Societies have failed to comply and have been defaulting since, incorporation, defunct action, under section 22 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and Societies Registration (Pondicherry) Amendment Act, 1969, has been taken and the Societies are treated as having become defunct and dissolved.
