NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Puducherry

Value Added Tax Act, 2007 (Act No. 9 of 2007) and all other powersenabling in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in public interest, is pleased to reduce and fix the rate of tax payable in respect of : (a) Piped Natural Gas for domestic household use (Domestic PNG) from 14.5% to 5% ; [ 521 ] 522 LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [PART–II

(b) Piped Natural Gas for commercial use (Commercial PNG)

from 14.5% to 7.5% ;

(c) Piped Natural Gas for industrial use (Industrial PNG)

from 14.5% to 7.5%.

2. This Notification shall come into force with effect from the

1st day of April, 2025.
