Ms. No. 07/2025/ADW&STW, Puducherry, dated 01st April 2025) NOTIFICATION The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby pleased to enhance the quantum of Pre-matric Scholarship to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes students studying from VI Std. to X Std. in Government Schools and Government recognized Private Schools under the Scheme of "Award of Pre-Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes students studying from VI Std. to X Std. in Government Schools and Government recognized Private Schools in the Union territory of Puducherry" and for the said purpose hereby makes the following [ 425 ] 526 LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [PART–II

Amendments to the rules notified in G.O. Ms. No. 17/2003-Wel(SCW.II), dated 22-09-2003 of Welfare Secretariat, Pondicherry and published in the Part-II, Extraordinary Gazette of Pondicherry, No. 22, dated 23rd September, 2003, namely:

AMENDMENT

In the Rules for award of Pre-Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes students studying from VI Standard to X Standard, 2003, for rule 5, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

5. Amount of Scholarship.— The scholarship shall be granted for

10 months in an Academic Year at the following rates:-

VI Standard to VIII Standard - 500 (Rupees five hundred only)

per month.

IX Standard to X Standard - 800 (Rupees eight hundred only)

per month.

2. These orders shall be deemed to have come into effect from the

Academic Year 2025-26.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide the I.D.E. Comp. No. 25624/FD/F5/A1/FC/2024-25, dated 21-03-2025.
