The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to reconstitute the District Level Committee on Medical termination of Pregnancy in the Union territory of Puducherry for Puducherry District in accordance with clause (b) of section (4) of the Medical termination of the Pregnancy Act, 1971 read with Rule 3 of the Medical termination of Pregnancy Rules, 2003, for the purposes of the Act, with immediate effect, as follows:-

The Committee may after considering the application and the recommendations of the Chief Medical Officer of the District approve such place and issue Certificate of approval in Form-B.
3. The tenure of the Committee shall be for a period of two (2) calendar years from the date of issue of the order and tenure of Non-Government Members shall not be more than two (2) terms.

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old, unserviceable articles like aluminium vessels, stainless steel vessels, wooden, brass, iron, plastic materials, etc., of the various Anganwadi centres of Zone I and II (45 centres) under the control of ICDS Project III, Ariyankuppam, Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry, will be disposed off in "as-is-where-is-condition".
Terms and Conditions
1. The tenders in a sealed cover should be addressed to the Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry, duly sealed and superscribed on the envelope as "Tender for purchase of unserviceable furniture and vessels". The tender covers should reach the undersigned on or before 09-05-2025 at 2.30 p.m. The tender covers received after the due date and time will be rejected.
2. All the intending tenderers may inspect the items kept in the following location in Ariyankuppam area with the permission of the concerned officer on 07-05-2025 and 08-05-2025 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The list of materials to be auctioned are pasted in front of the location mentioned below.

3. The tender will be conducted in the Training Hall (III Floor) of the Department of Women and Child Development, New Saram (Opposite to LIC Office), Puducherry on 09-05-2025 at 3.00 p.m.
4. The tender covers will be opened on 09-05-2025 at 3.00 p.m. in the presence of tenderers who are present at the time of opening. If, the last day happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.
5. If, the highest tender amount offered in the Tender Form is found to be not acceptable by the undersigned, then a public auction will be conducted on the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as the minimum price for the bid of the auction.
6. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) in cash as earnest money deposit at the time of submitting the Tender Form. The earnest money deposit amount for unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender process is over/finalized. The tender without earnest money deposit will be rejected.
7. The tenderer should submit the following self-attested photocopies (i) Copy of valid GSTIN, (ii) Copy of a PAN Card and (iii) Copy of Aadhaar Card. If, any false representation is found during the tender process, the tender submitted by him/her/them will be cancelled and the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
8. If any/all participants misbehave during the tender process, the tenderer(s) will be removed from the place, also their tenders will be rejected and earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
9. The successful tenderer should remit the entire amount to the Cashier, Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry, immediately after finalization of the tender. The applicable rate of GST will be charged on the finalized tender amount as per the rules.
10. The rate finalized during the auction for the old story books and waste papers is valid for one year from the date of auction.
11. The entire unserviceable materials and old story books and waste papers should be removed within 24 hours after finalization of the tender at his/her/their own risk and cost. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles will be entertained once the tender is finalized. This office will not be held any responsibility for the items, once the tender is finalized. The earnest money deposit amount of successful tenderer will be released after clearing the unserviceable materials from the respective Anganwadi Centres/Office.
12. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof, in the public interest.
13. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.

AUCTION NOTICE
The Petroleum Pump Dealers are hereby informed that the Diesel seized Crime No. 03/2024 of the Food Cell Police Station. The same will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by Auction on 26-04-2025 at 11.30 a.m. The seized diesel is kept in the premises of Palloor Police Station, Mahe, Puducherry.
Terms and Conditions
1. The sealed bids should be addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Food Cell Police Station duly superscribing on the envelope as "Bids for purchase of abovesaid items should reach the Food Cell Police Station on or before 10.00 a.m. on 26-04-2025. The bids will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the presence of bidders present if any, in the Chamber of the undersigned at No. 63, V Cross, Jaya Nagar (West), Reddiyarpalayam, Puducherry-605 010 (rate quote per litre for each seized items of diesel separately if any variation).
2. The diesel auctioned would be awarded to the highest bidder on the spot.
3. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest money deposit of 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in favour of "The Superintendent of Police, Food Cell Police Station, Puducherry" along with sealed bid. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be refunded on the same day soon after completion of Auction.
4. The successful bidder should pay the entire amount soon after the completion of the auction and should clear the auctioned items at his/her own arrangement/cost on the same day, failing which the Station will not be held responsible either for the safe custody or loss or damage of items once the auction is over.
5. GST/Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate applicable, at the time of auction.
6. No claim on the quantity or quality of the items will be admitted once the auction sale is over.
7. The intending bidders can inspect the items of seized diesel during the office hours on any working day but, on or before the auction date at Palloor Police Station, Mahe, with the permission of the undersigned.
8. The bids offered after the due date and time will be rejected.
9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid without assigning any reason thereof.
If, the auction date falls on a holiday, the auction will be held on the next working day.
10. Auction is subject to the discretion of the undersigned whose decision will be the final in case of any dispute.
11. Along with the bid, a copy of any one of the following self-attested documents should be submitted.
