NOTIFICATION
The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to reconstitute the District Level Committee on Medical termination of Pregnancy in the Union territory of Puducherry for Puducherry District in accordance with clause (b) of section (4) of the Medical termination of the Pregnancy Act, 1971 read with Rule 3 of the Medical termination of Pregnancy Rules, 2003, for the purposes of the Act, with immediate effect, as follows:-
1. The Director of Health and . . Chairperson Family Welfare Services, Puducherry.
2. The Medical Superintendent, . . Member- Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital Secretary. for Women and Children, Puducherry.
3. The H.O.D and Professor of . . Member Obstetrics and Gynaecology, JIPMER, Puducherry.
4. The Deputy Director . . Member (Rural Development), Local Administration Department, Puducherry.
5. Tmt. J. Indumathi Bhuvaneswari, . . Member B.A, L.L.B, Additional Government Pleader for the Government of Puducherry.
2. The Chief Medical Officer of the District may, if, he/she is satisfied after such verification, enquiry or inspection, as may be considered necessary, that termination of pregnancies may be done under safe and hygienic conditions, at the place, recommend the approval of such place to the Committee. The Committee may after considering the application and the recommendations of the Chief Medical Officer of the District approve such place and issue Certificate of approval in Form-B.
3. The tenure of the Committee shall be for a period of two (2) calendar years from the date of issue of the order and tenure of Non-Government Members shall not be more than two (2) terms.

TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old, unserviceable articles like aluminium vessels, stainless steel vessels, wooden, brass, iron, plastic materials, etc., of the various Anganwadi centres of Zone I and II (45 centres) under the control of ICDS Project III, Ariyankuppam, Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry, will be disposed off in "as-is-where-is-condition".
Terms and Conditions
1. The tenders in a sealed cover should be addressed to the Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry, duly sealed and superscribed on the envelope as "Tender for purchase of unserviceable furniture and vessels". The tender covers should reach the undersigned on or before 09-05-2025 at 2.30 p.m. The tender covers received after the due date and time will be rejected.
2. All the intending tenderers may inspect the items kept in the following location in Ariyankuppam area with the permission of the concerned officer on 07-05-2025 and 08-05-2025 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The list of materials to be auctioned are pasted in front of the location mentioned below.
