NOTIFICATION

In supersession of the G.O. Ms. No. 10/DI&C/T11/ 2023-24, dated 06-11-2023 of Directorate of Industries a n d C o m me r c e ( S e c r e t a r i a t Wi n g ) , P u d u c h e r r y, the Director of Industries and Commerce has submitted a proposal to rename and reconstitute the Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council in accordance with the section 21(1) of the MSMED Act, 2006.

2. The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry is pleased to rename the "Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council, Puducherry" to "Puducherry Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council" and reconstitute the Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council, Puducherry, with the following Members.

1. Director of Industries and Commerce, . . Chairman Puducherry.

2. Lead District Manager, Indian Bank, . . Member Puducherry/Representative.

3. President/Secretary, Pondicherry . . Member Chamber of Industries, Mettupalayam,

Puducherry.

4. President/Secretary, Sedarapet . . Member Industries Association, Puducherry.

5. Deputy Secretary/Under Secretary, . . Member Law Department, Government of Puducherry.

3. The Chairman may authorize the Deputy Director (Technical)/Assistant Director to issue notices/ Correspondence relating to this Council.

4. The above constitution of the Council shall continue till further orders. The functions of the Council as laid down in the G.O. No. 4/2007-Ind.-A, dated 08-06-2007 of the Department of Industrial Development (Industries and Commerce), Puducherry, will remain unaltered and shall be followed by the above reconstituted Council.
