GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY
DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT (EXCISE) In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 read with sub-section (1) of section 70A of the Puducherry Excise Act, 1970 (No. 12 of 1970), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following further Amendment to the Revenue Department's Notification issued under S.O. No. 24, dated 5th July 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 83, dated 5th July 1974, as amended from time to time, namely:—

AMENDMENT
(i) In the Schedule appended to the said notification, for the entries under column (3) against serial number 1, the following words and figures shall be substituted, namely:—
"(a) Cheap brands and ordinary brands . . 110.00
whose declared price per case is less than 600.
(b) Medium and premium brands whose . . 125.00"
declared price per case is 600 and above.
(ii) In the Schedule appended to the said notification, in the entries under column (3) against serial number 3, for the words and figures " 25.00 per bulk litre", the words and figures " 30.00 per bulk litre" shall be substituted.
(iii) In the Schedule appended to the said notification, in the entries under column (3) against serial number 4, for the words and figures " 1,000.00 per bulk hecto litre", the words and figures " 12.00 per bulk litre", shall be substituted."

No. 24, dated 5th July, 1974 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 83, dated 5th July, 1974, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following further Amendment to the Notification issued vide No.4764/DCE/S1/2019, dated 23rd July, 2019 and published in the Extraordinary Part-II, Gazette of Puducherry No. 38, dated 24th July, 2019, namely:–

(i) For the existing Schedule-I appended to the said Notification,
the following shall be substituted, namely :—
