(Social Welfare), Puducherry, (4) G.O. Ms. No. l7/SWS/2019-20, dated 16-09-2019 of the Under Secretary to Government (Social Welfare), Puducherry and (5) G.O. Ms. No. 02/SWS/2022-23, dated 25-04-2022 of the Under Secretary to Government (Social Welfare), Puducherry, for the enhancement of financial assistance towards funeral expenses as follows:

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in sub-rule(l) of rule 8, G.O. Ms. No. 02/SWS/ 2022-23, dated 25-04-2022 of the Under Secretary to Government (Social Welfare), Puducherry, for the letters and figures " 15,000" thereof, the letters and figures " 25,000" shall be substituted.

2. The enhanced rate of funeral expenses shall effect from the date

of issue of this Order.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department, Puducherry vide their I.D.E.Comp No. 38852/FD/F5/Al/FC/2025-26, dated 09-06-2025.
