NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the Notification No. F.5/4/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Schedule-III for the post of Head Constable (Wireless Operator) [Male] in the Government of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015 notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 35, dated 29th April, 2015 and published as a Supplement to the Gazette No. 19 of the 12th May, 2015, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion (Group 'C' post) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule-III to the Government of Puducherry, India Reserve Battalion (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015 in so far as it relates to the post of Head Constable (Wireless Operator) [Male]:
In Column (12), for the corresponding entries under the heading "If, a Departmental Promotion Committee exists, what is its composition?", the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Group 'C' Departmental Promotion Committee (for considering promotion): —
(1) Commandant, India Reserve Battalion.
. . Chairman
(2) Deputy Commandant, India Reserve Battalion . . Member
(as nominated by the Director / Inspector-General of Police).
(3) Superintendent of Police (Wireless), Puducherry Police. . . Member".
