SOCIAL WELFARE SECRETARIAT

Ms. No. 03/SWS/2025-26/924, Puducherry, dated 01st August 2025) NOTIFICATION The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the following Amendment to the Scheme "Puducherry Grant-in-aid Rules for Non-Governmental Organisations Running Residential Homes for the Welfare of Children in need of Care and Protection, Aged Persons, Disabled and Vulnerable Persons" notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 3/2008-Wel/ SW-V, dated 05-06-2008 of the Under Secretary to Government (Welfare), Puducherry, for the enhancement of Grant-in-aid amount for the NGOs as follows:- [ 953 ]

AMENDMENT

Under clause 5 of the said rules, for the amount " 500 per inmate / per month" thereof, " 1,000 per inmate / per month" shall be substituted.

2. The enhanced rate of Grant-in-aid shall come into effect from

the date of issue of this order.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department, Puducherry vide their I.D.No.E.Comp No. 41270/FD/F5/A1/FC/2025-26, dated 21-07-2025.
