NOTIFICATION
In order to make Higher Education more accessible and to promote higher education and provide continued support to the student community and to prevent discontinuance of higher studies due to financial constraints the Government of Puducherry has decided to extend Free Education (100% tuition fee waiver) for all the students studying in Government/Society College against Government Quota seats (All regions) from the Academic Year 2024-25.
2. This policy decision of the Government is issued to all the concerned Administrative Departments for the respective Professional/Other Institutions for exempting from paying tuition fees.
LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 730 7303. The concerned Administrative Department shall obtain the details of financial implication and make necessary provision in their Head of Account for grants-in-aid of the respective Institutions and obtain approval of the competent authorities for release of funds, accordingly.
4. For Women's Engineering College, Lawspet, Puducherry from the Academic year 2022-23, tuition fee exemption is allowed on par with PTU and PKIET.
