WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT SECRETARIAT(G.O. Ms. No. 08/2025-WCD(SW-IV)/2020, Puducherry, dated 10th December 2025) NOTIFICATION The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to enhance the quantum of financial assistance to raise the status of girl children and for the said purpose hereby makes further Amendment to the "Rules for the Grant of Incentive to the Family having one Girl and the Parents who have undergone Family Planning" notified in G.O. Ms. No. 3/2004- Wel(SW-IV), dated 30th January 2004 of the Chief Secretariat (Welfare), Puducherry and published in Extraordinary Gazette No. 1, dated 9th February 2004 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), namely:– [ 1317 ] 1318 LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [PART–II

AMENDMENT

1. Short title and commencement.— (i)These rules may be called "Grant of Incentive to the family having one girl / two girl children and parents who have undergone family planning in the Union territory of Puducherry (Amendment) Rules, 2025".

(ii) These rules shall extend to the whole of the Union territory

of Puducherry.

(iii) It shall come into force from the date of its notification in

the Official Gazette.

2. In the said rule, in rule 5, for the figures " 30,000 and 15,000",

the figures " 50,000 and 25,000" shall be substituted.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their I.D.E.Comp. No. 37765/FD/F5/A1/FC/2025-26, dated 13-10-2025.
