AMENDMENT
1. Short title and commencement.— (i)These rules may be called "Grant of Monthly Financial Assistance to Women who are Heads of Families living Below Poverty Line (BPL) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(ii) These rules shall extend to the whole of the Union territory
of Puducherry.
(iii) It shall come into force from the date of its notification in
the Official Gazette.
2. In the said rules, Rule 6.— for the figures " 1,000, the words and figures 2,500 (Rupees two thousand and five hundred only) shall be substituted.
3. In the said rule, in rule 7.— in sub-rule (1) of rule 7.
The following shall be substituted.
The monthly financial assistance shall be made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode via Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) through Public Financial Management System (PFMS) directly into the Aadhaar linked Bank Account of the Women Head of a BPL family. The Assistance shall become due for payment only on the expiry of the month to which it relates.
2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department, vide their I.D.No.E.Comp.No. 38880/FD/F5/A1/FC/2025-26,dated 23-12-2025.
