NOTIFICATION

The 24th July, 2020

No.5/62/2016/MEO/DA/1671.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Sangrur District Sangrur :-

        1.   Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
        2.   Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Sangrur  District
             Sangrur
        3.   Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sangrur;
        4.   Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Patiala;
        5.   Administrator, Municipal Council, Sangrur ;
        6.   Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Sangrur ;
        7.   Sh. Mahesh Kumar, S/o Ved Parkash, Mandi Gali, Sangrur (member nominated by the Government
             vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/1668,  Dated 24-07-2020). and
        8.   Sh. Binder Bansal S/o Sh. Des Raj, Partap Nagar, Sangrur, (member nominated by the Government
             vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/1668 Dated 24-07-2020).
2.      As  per  provisions  of  Rule  5(6)  of  the  Delimitation  of  wards  of  Municipalities  Rules,  1972,  the
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sangrur shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present

Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
