NOTIFICATION

The 31st July, 2020

No.5/25/2016/MEO/DA/1923.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipal Corporation Order, 1995 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of fresh delimitation of wards of Municipal Corporation, Bathinda, District Bathinda:-

1. Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf;

2. Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda;

3. Member(s) of the Punjab Legislative Assembly representing the Municipal Corporation, Bathinda wholly or partly;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Bathinda;

5. Additional/Joint /Assistant Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda;

6. Sh. Rajiv Garg S/o Joginder Pal, Ward No. 5, 83 Green City Colony, Green Place road, Bathinda.

(member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/25/2016/MEO/DA/1915, Dated 31-07-2020).

7. Sh. Surinder Gupta, S/o Sh. Harbans Lal, Ward No.12, House No. 237, Model Town Phase 1, Bathinda.

(member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/25/2016/MEO/DA/1915, Dated 31-07-2020).

2. As per provisions of the Clause 5 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipal Corporation Order, 1995,the Director Local Government Punjab shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, Chairman may be elected amongst from the members present in the meeting. ( 809 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), AUGUST 4, 2020 (SRVN 13, 1942 SAKA) 810 Note:- Previous Notification(s), if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board operative in respect of above mentioned municipality shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
