NOTIFICATION

The 31st July, 2020

No.5/25 /2016 /MEO/DA/1945.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipal Corporation Order, 1995 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of fresh delimitation of wards of Municipal Corporation, Pathankot, District Pathankot:-

1. Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf;

2. Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Pathankot;

3. Member(s) of the Punjab Legislative Assembly representing the Municipal Corporation, Pathankot wholly or partly;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Amritsar;

5. Additional/Joint /Assistant Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Pathankot;

6. Sh. Gaurav Wadhera S/o Rajinder Lal Wadhera, 103 Wadhera Street, Shahpur chowk, Pathankot (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/25/2016 /MEO/DA/1915, Dated 31-07-2020).

7. Sh. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, S/o Sh. Devan Chand, Near Dr. Yash Gupta Patel Chowk, Pathankot.

(member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/25/2016 /MEO/DA/1915, Dated 31-07-2020).

2. As per provisions of the Clause 5 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipal Corporation Order, 1995,the Director Local Government Punjab shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, Chairman may be elected amongst from the members present in the meeting. ( 813 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), AUGUST 4, 2020 (SRVN 13, 1942 SAKA) 814 Note:- Previous Notification(s), if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board operative in respect of above mentioned municipality shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
