NOTIFICATION

The 13th August, 2020

No.5/82/2019/MEO/DA/1823.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Nagar Panchayat, Bhagta Bhai Ka District Bathinda :-

1. Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Bhagta Bhai Ka;

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rampura Phul;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Bathinda;

5. Administrator, Nagar Panchayat, Bhagta Bhai Ka ;

6. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Bhagta Bhai Ka ;

7. Sh. Boota Singh S/o Ikkatar Singh, Near Giris School, Patti Sailbarh, Bhagta Bhai ka (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/82/2019/MEO/DA/1813, Dated 13-08-2020).

and

8. Sh. Rajinder Singh Brar S/o Sh. Sukhdev Singh, Near Gurudwara Mahil Sahib, Khana Patti, Bhagta Bhai Ka (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/82/2019/MEO/ DA/1813, Dated 13-08-2020).

( 912 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), AUGUST 14, 2020 (SRVN 23, 1942 SAKA) 913 2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rampura Phul shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members

present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.

Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
