NOTIFICATION

The 4th September, 2020

No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2190.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Tarn Taran District Tarn Taran.

1. Deputy Commissioner, Tarn Taran or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Tarn Taran.

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tarn Taran;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Amritsar;

5. Administrator, Municipal Council, Tarn Taran;

6. Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Tarn Taran;

7. Sh. Kashmir Singh Sidhu S/o Sh. Gurbachan Singh, Near Bus Stand, Amandeep Aveenue, Tarn Taran District Tarn Taran. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/ 2016/MEO/DA/ 2119, Dated 04-09-2020 ).

8. Sh. Sandip Kumar S/o Sh. Om Parkash, House No. 335/10, Main Gali Guru Teg Bahadur Colony, Fateh Chak, Tarn Taran. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/2016/ MEO/DA/ 2119, Dated 04-09-2020 ).

( 1153 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), SEPTEMBER 4, 2020 (BHDR 13, 1942 SAKA) 1154 2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tarn Taran shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present

shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.

Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
