NOTIFICATION

The 4th September, 2020

No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2210.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Sanaur District Patiala.

        1.   Deputy Commissioner, Patiala or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
        2.   Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Sanaur.
        3.   Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sanaur;
        4.   Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Patiala;
        5.   Administrator, Municipal Council, Sanaur;
        6.   Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Sanaur;
        7.   Sh. Harinder Pal Singh Mann(Harry Mann) S/o Late Sh. Harbans Singh Mann, Sindicate Member
             Punjabi University Patiala, Village Jode Majra Dist. Patiala. (member nominated by the Government
             vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2119, Dated 04-09-2020).
        8.   Sh. Rajiv Goyal S/o Sh. Satpal Goyal, Sadar Bajar Sanaur. (member nominated by the Government
             vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2119, Dated 04-09-2020 ).
2.      As  per  provisions  of  Rule  5(6)  of  the  Delimitation  of  wards  of  Municipalities  Rules,  1972,  the

Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sanaur shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman. the date of issuance of this notification.
